No, the University of Macquarie does not require GMAT or GRE score for admission. The University evaluates applications based on other criteria such as academic performance (ATAR) for UG students and work experience for Masters and with minimum marks in your bachelor's degree. International students have to submit their IELTS score to meet Macquarie University English language requirements. However, Macquarie University also approves other English tests such as TOEFL, PET, and Duolingo were completed within 3 years of the applicant's course date at Macquarie University rather than the general 2 years.

The QS Accounting and Finance programme is ranked 51-100 for 2021 and 2022. The QS Global MBA programme has seen a fluctuation in its ranking. However, it has improved in 2023.
