Madras Institute of Technology course admission is based on entrance test scores and the merit of the academic performance. For admission to BTech, the institute accepts TNEA scores. Admissions of M.Tech programmes are done on TANCET/ GATE, followed by TANCET Counselling.

Yes, Indian students can apply for the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) admissions although it remains really hard to get into.

Madras Institute of Technology is not very expensive. For BTech the total course fee is INR 2 lakh. For MTech, the fee is INR 50,000.

As per the reviewers on Shiksha (Elumalai K -B.Tech. in Rubber and Plastic Technology - Batch of 2027), the college has good value for money and faculty members. Almost 80% of students got placed last year. Around 10% of students opted for higher studies like PG. The remaining 10% of students got jobs and some got married. The highest salary package offered in the last year for a student is 12 LPA. The major recruiting companies are Wipro, Apollo Tyres, MRF Tyres, etc. The teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable.

As per the review for Shiksha user (Praveenkumar,  B.Tech. in Information Technology - Batch of 2027) It is a nice place to learn. Almost 90 percent of students got placed. The highest package is upto 46 LPA. The department has good facilities with classrooms, labs, and Wi-Fi. There are libraries too with good infrastructure. Smart board is also available. In hostel, an Ethernet facility is available. Teachers are good at teaching and doubt clearing as well as giving great assistance to the students whenever needed. There are more than 10 clubs on the campus and Mega Fest also happens once a year with grand gatherin
