MAHA TET

Candidates who fulfill the MAHA TET eligibility criteria can apply for the exam. The MAHA TET eligiblity comprises educational qualification and age limit. Have a look at the basic conditions in term of educational qualification and age limit for Paper 1 and Paper 2 below:

• For MAHA TET Paper 1, candidates need to be Class 12 pass with Diploma in Education (D.Ed) or Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)
• For MAHA TET Paper 2, candidates need to be Class 12 pass and Graduate along with Diploma in Education (D.Ed) or Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)
• There is no MAHA TET age limit criteria

• MAHA: Maharashtra
• TET: Teacher Eligibility Test

It is an eligibility exam for candidates who want to apply for teacher recruitment in Maharashtra schools.

The MAHA TET exam is conducted in separate shifts for Paper 1 and Paper 2. Each shift is of 2 hours 30 minutes in duration. The timing of the MAHA TET exam is generally as follows:

The MAHA TET exam is conducted offline in pen and paper mode. Candidates need to mark theirs answers on the OMR Sheet allotted to them at the exam centres. The answers need to be marked using the ballpoint pen. The MAHA TET answer key is published online on the official website; i.e. mahatet.in. The answer key of the MAHA TET exam is released in two steps - first an interim answer key, and then a final answer key. Candidates can refer to the answer key to compare their responses and calculate the expected scores in the exam. On the other hand, the MAHA TET exam is held offline in pen and paper mode. 

Candidates can calculate the marks in the MAHA TET exam by comparing their answers with the answer key. Candidates can know the scores using the process shared below-

• One mark for every correct answer
• 0 marks for wrong answer
• No negative marking

The MAHA TET interim answer key is the released just after the exam. The interim MAHA TET answer key is released with objection link. Candidates can challenge the interim answers if they find any answer faulty or incorrect. The MAHA TET final answer key is released after the scrutiny of objections raised by candidates. It is the MAHA TET final answer key on the basis of which the exam result is prepared. The marks of a candidate are calculated based on the number of correct and incorrect answers marked by them in the exam.
