The Maharashtra State Council of Examination (MSCE), Pune conducts the MAHA TET exam every year to certify candidates as teachers. The TET exam has two papers- Paper 1 and Paper 2. The MAHA TET Paper 1 is for Classes 1 to 5 teachers and Paper 2 is for Classes 6 to 8 teachers.

The Maharashtra TET exam does not have any negative marking. Maha TET is an eligibility exam wherein candidates need to obtain minimum qualifying marks. There is no cutoff mark criterion or negative marking in that exam. Candidates are marked 1 for each correct answer and 0 (zero) for each incorrect answer or unanswered question.

Yes, the Maha TET 2025 notification was released. The Maharashtra State Council of Examination (MSCE) released the official notification for the conduct of the 2025 session of Maharashtra TET examination on September 13. The MAHA TET notification was released on the official website of the exam - mahatet.in.
