To get admission in BTech course at MBSCET, the candidate must complete Class 12 with PCM. The student needs to appear for JKBOPEE entrance exam for government quota and SCET for minority quota. After qualifying the entrance seat allotment is done through counselling and admission is confirmed by submitting the application form, required documents and fees.

MBSCET application form can be obtained personally from the office of the Deputy Registrar of College at the cost of INR 1,200. The candidate can fill and duly sign the form and can be submit it in the office itself along with required documents.

The student has to submit the application amount for MBSCET to registered A/C number of college mentioned below. The admission procedure is that the candidates must pass Class 12 examination or an equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects. MBSCET primarily uses the MBS Minority Seats Entrance Test for selection. JKCET scores are also considered. For seat allotment, candidate's performance as per the selection criteria is evaluated. Then the candidate is required to fill the Application Form of MBSCET. The form is available online as well as offline. Submit the application form along with the required documents and the application amount to MBSCET.

The students who have cleared Class 12 with subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised board are eligible to apply for admission in MBSCET. For BTech in CSE you are required to have at least one computer language as your subject in Class 12.

No, there is no requirement of any other subject to pursue BTech in MBSCET, the eligibility criteria for taking admission in their BTech programme is the candidate should pass Class 12 with the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. But to take admission in BTech CSE you are required to have at least one computer language as your subject in Class 12.

The MBSCET admission process usually starts in March. With J & K Board of Professional Entrance Examination applications opening online, and the counselling happens after the entrance exam results are announced.

JKBOPEE will release the JKCET application form 2026 tentatively in Mar 2026. The JKCET 2026 exam is expected to be held in Apr 2026. The exact exam date is announced through the official JKBOPEE notification.

No, MBSCET admission are done through entrance exam and counselling such as JKBOPEE for government quota and SCET for minority quota. There is no officially announced direct admission without entrance.
