To get admission in BTech course at MBSCET, the candidate must complete Class 12 with PCM. The student needs to appear for JKBOPEE entrance exam for government quota and SCET for minority quota. After qualifying the entrance seat allotment is done through counselling and admission is confirmed by submitting the application form, required documents and fees.

MBSCET application form can be obtained personally from the office of the Deputy Registrar of College at the cost of INR 1,200. The candidate can fill and duly sign the form and can be submit it in the office itself along with required documents.

The total seat intake of BTech course at MBSCET is 330. There are two quotas of equal weightage i.e. 165 students in Government of J&K quota and 165 in Minority quota.

The admission procedure is that the candidates must pass Class 12 examination or an equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects.
