Students studying BSc in Maharaja Agrasen College can apply for scholarships in a more organized manner. First, the students will search for eligibility criteria of different scholarships under the Prime Minister's Scheme and other schemes proposed by the government. It usually opens in July and usually ends in August.

Maharaja Agrasen College has shown a declining trend in the 'BSc' category rankings over these years. The ranking of this college, by India Today, declined from #21 in 2021 to #22 in 2022, further to #24 in 2023, thus being in consecutive decline since last year. Despite all the decline, it has constantly featured amongst the top 50 institutions of the country for three years in a row in 'BSC' programmes.

Maharaja Agrasen College is ranked #24 in the 'BSc' category by India Today for the year 2023. The ranking details for 2024 have not been published yet. By this ranking, it slipped two places from rank #22 compared with the previous year. Even after slipping two ranks, the college managed to retain its position in the top 50 institutions in the country for BSc programmes for the third consecutive year. Rankings are done based on a number of factors that underline college commitment to quality Science education: faculty quality, employability weightage, and overall academic performance.
