No, you don't have to go for your practical exams, if you are appearing in class improvement exam. The improvement exams are conducted with the purpose of giving a chance to students for improving their marks in theory portion only.
If you have passed the practical exams once, your marks will be considered the same in practical portion.

Yes, you can take the improvement exam next year for the HSC board even if you have failed in one subject during the July improvement but passed the main boards in February. Students are permitted by the Maharashtra Board to take the improvement exams for improving their marks. But because you have failed in one subject, you would also have to enroll for the supplementary exam of that particular subject. Make sure you confirm the registration dates and process with your school or on the Maharashtra Board website to act accordingly.

Yes, candidates who fail in 3 or less than 3 subjects are eligible to appear for Maharashtra HSC supplementary exams.

Even you can take improvement exams only for three subjects of your HSC board, be it Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM), despite not taking the practical. Improvement exams are also held for the enhancement of selected subjects' scores of a student. But one has to check the rules of specific boards as some may require improvement for retaking practicals also. Since your results are not yet out, be prepared to apply for the improvement exams as soon as they are released, especially if you aim to meet the 75% criteria for IIT eligibility.

Yes, in order to raise your marks, you can still take a class improvement exam even if you passed every subject but received a low percentage on the HSC board exam. An improvement exam is one that is administered by someone who passed their primary exam but are not happy with their score. Students can enhance their overall results by taking the CBSE improvement exam again. If a person does not perform well enough to meet a certain requirement or fails the 12th Board exams, they are eligible for an improvement exam. Yes, you can appear for HSC exams again if you are not satisfied with your marks.
Students who want to appear for these exams must register themselves through the official website mahahsscboard.in. They must ensure to fill in only the subjects they have to reappear for in the supplementary exam application form.
Only registered candidates will get their Maharashtra HSC Admit Card for supplementary exams.
The exam center details, dates, and timings will differ for supplementary exams. Students must carry their admit card in each exam

Yes, you will be eligible to re appear for the subjects you could not do well. You can give the improvement exam for the three subjects. But, reappearing for the subjects is not possible as per my opinion.

Yes, one can appear for improvement exams twice:
- In July after the results are announced.
- Next year in March 2024 with other regular students.

For improvement examination, only one chance in the succeeding year is permitted. Hence, no you cannot appear for the improvement exam for the next year. You'll have to repeat class 12th HSC boards again.
