MIT Pune offers a three-year BCA course in Science specialisations. The university also gives options to students to choose a four-year UG programme, where they will be awarded a (Hons.) degree at the course completion. Those who get a UG degree in BCA can build their career as Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Machine Learning Engineers, Application Architects, etc. The university provides scholarships facility to students based on their merit scores in MIT-WPU CET entrance exam.

Yes, MIT Pune BCA admissions are entirely entrance-based. The university selects eligible candidates based on its in-house entrance exam, i.e., MIT WPU-CET. The university conducts a common entrance test for the selection of candidates for its UG & PG courses. This exam is conducted in online mode. In the selection process, there is 100% weightage given for the entrance exam and 50% for the personal interview round. Whoever is willing to get admission to this course must qualify for the MIT-WPU CET exam with a valid score.

The admission process for BCA (Science) course at MIT Pune starts with filling an application form. Before applying for this course, candidates must fulfil the basic eligibility requirements, i.e., to pass Class 12 in the Science stream from a recognised board. The eligible candidates can visit the official website of MIT Pune and fill an online application form. Admission to this course is entrance-based. Aspirants have to appear for MIT-WPU CET and qualify the exam with a valid score. At last, the final selection will be based on the performance of candidates in the Personal Interview (PI) round.

Maharashtra Institute of Technology Institute of Design offers three years BDes programme across eleven specialisation. BDes is the flagship course of the Institution Candidates are required to appear in the MIT DAT (Design Aptitude Test) to get into BDes programme. A valid score in MIT DAT followed by personal interview and studio test.

There is no such provision for direct admission to any of the courses offered at MIT Institute of Design (MITID). Candidates interested in taking admission at MITID must take the institute’s entrance exam, i.e. Design Aptitude Test (DAT) on the basis of which candidates will be selected for the Studio test and Personal Interview (PI) rounds. On successful qualifying in both these rounds, candidates will be required to report to the admission cell at MITID for document verification and tuition fee payment for final seat allotment.
