For MNLU Mumbai BA LLB admission, candidates must qualify for Class 12 from any of the streams with at least an aggregate of 45% and 40% for SC and ST candidates. Completion of Class 12 is the primary eligibility criteria that students are required to fulfil for enrolling in the BA LLB course. The final selection of the candidates is based on their scores secured in the CLAT entrance test. After the entrance exam, the cutoff is announced. Candidates who meet the MNLU Mumbai CLAT cutoff mark can take part in MHT CET counselling. After seat allotment, aspirants can report to MNLU Mumbai's admission department and pay an admission fee for seat confirmation.

To apply for CLAT entrance exam, check the detailed application steps below:

1. Registration - The candidate could register by entering their name, mobile number, and email id. Also, select and confirm a password for the newly created applicant account. 
2. Login - Log in to access the application form.  
3. Select the programme of study - After logging in, the first thing was to select the programme of study 5-year LLB or one-year LLB
4. Fill the form - There were different fields like personal information, communication details, qualifying examination status, exam centre preferences (THREE centres can be selected in the order of preference), and reservation. All fields needed to be filled. Check what all documents were needed to be uploaded in the prescribed specification (refer to the table below).

5. Submit the form - Once the details are duly filled, agree to the declaration, give consent and submit the form.    

6. CLAT NLU Preference List 2026:

Candidates must note that it was mandatory to give their preferences to NLUs while submitting their CLAT Application Form. Aspirants must select their preferences carefully, as the consortium will only consider those NLUs that have been mentioned in the preference list.
