First and foremost, you must write entrance exams like MAT, CMAT, CAT, XAT, etc., for joining any of the colleges for MBA course. You must have the scoreboard of any of this entrances and apply to that particular college and they will call you for Group Discussion and Personal Interview, and then, at last, they will announce the results.

Yes, NMIMS considers only NMAT score which is conducted from October to December. You can give 3 attempts. There is no negative marking in NMAT. A score of 210 is eligible for the Mumbai campus and 190 for Bangalore and Hyderabad campus.

Syllabus of graduation programmes is decided by the council of IITs, NITs, IIITs or other universities according to credit structure of UGC / AICTE or under which they are approved or affiliated. So, every college covers the basic syllabus of respective courses.
More or less, the syllabus is almost similar but the references used or study materials supplied are different for every college. Also, the lab activities are different.

You can change your branch in the 2nd year subject to rules and regulations of the university. You can change the engineering college but it's a difficult process. You may check with the registrar of the college for the process of change of branch and college.
