Hello,
You really don't want to do B.Tech. But, think wisely you have completed your 1 year in that. Complete B.Tech first. I understand, this is the age we get into conflicts, but I am telling you one thing Indian parents and Indian culture + advice of Indian teachers are very right. I too realized it now. You should first take counseling from your university teacher regarding this matter because they are the best and experienced.
