MJPRU course admissions for a four-year BTech course is entirely based on the candidate's rank in JEE Main. Also, they must have passed Class 12 with PCM as subjects from a recognised board. For MJPRU BTech course admissions, candidates must pass JEE Main entracce with a valid score. This is a national-level entrance exam conducted for all the BTech aspirants. Candidates who qualify for JEE Main entrance exam are required to fill an online application form for admission on the official website of MJPRU. All the JEE Mai qualifiers can submit their scorecard and other qualificational documents by email as per the notification released by the university.

The University has a separate hostel for boys and girls. The main hostel has accommodation for over 250 students. Moreover, the hostel facilities include water coolers, common rooms, phones, xerox machines, Sports Facilities, Canteen, Mess Facility, T.V. facilities, Vehicle Stand, etc.
