Maitreyi College, University of Delhi Eligibility

Maitreyi College admits students to the BCom programme who have passed their Class 12 or any other equivalent examination from a recognised board. Admission is based on the scores obtained in the CUET entrance exam. It is a three-year full-time undergraduate course. Candidates must note that they have to meet specific eligibility requirements before admission. The admission is carried out through national-level entrance tests, and the candidate should ascertain at the time of application that they fulfill all the requirements so that the candidate can be accepted into the programme.

The aspirants seeking admission to the Maitreyi College BSc course must fulfill the eligibility requirements. Candidates must have qualified for a Class 12 examination or its equivalent from a recognised board, securing a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in the relevant subjects. Admissions to this course are granted based on the scores secured in the Common University Entrance Test conducted by NTA. Admission to the BSc course at Maitreyi College is done based on registration at CUET and obtaining the minimum cutoff marks.

In Maitreyi College, there is admission to the BA course based on some eligibility. Candidates must have passed their Class 12 examination or any other equivalent examination from a recognised board with at least 50% aggregate marks. Admission into this course is considered on the basis of performance in the Common University Entrance Test (CUET), conducted by NTA. Candidates must register with CUET and meet the qualifying cutoff marks set by the college to pursue a BA programme.

Admission to all the Maitreyi College courses is entrance-based. While Maitreyi College accepts CUET UG exam for admission to its undergraduate courses, admission to all the PG programmes will be subject to the CUET- PG exam starting admission 2023. The institute along with DU started accepting CUET UG starting 2022 and the CUET PG from 2023 session onward. Before this, admission to UG was based on merit in Class 12 and PG admission was mostly subject to DUET exam previously conducted by DU.
