MAKAUT grants MSc admission to students based on their performance in the accepted entrance test, i.e., CET. No, you won't be allowed to take the test with just a digital copy. MAKAUT CET requires a printed copy of the admit card to be shown to the proctor. It's compulsory to bring a printed copy to the exam center.

The MAKAUT CET 2024 should start the application from *June 2024.* Any change in dates is known from time to time through the beginning of June or the third week of June. Candidates can submit an application form online in the official MAKAUT website. The exam is usually held at the end of June or beginning of July.
Eligibility consists of 10+2 with subjects required. The examination is commonly conducted for admission into various undergraduate and postgraduate programs offered by the university as well as affiliated colleges.

No, MAKAUT considers WBJEE for regular admission to BTech programme and JELET (conducted by WBJEEB) for admission to lateral entry programme. Other than above mentioned exams, the official website does not mention any other source of admission. Students are advised to check with the admissions office of the college.

Yes, you can take admission into NIMAS for the M.Sc. programme even if you do not have MAKAUT CET because the NIMAS may consider direct admissions strictly on merit basis based upon your academic performance in earlier studies. For example, depending upon marks obtained in your relevant bachelor's degree. However, the eligibility criteria and the admission procedure differ with the applied programme and hence one needs to check the eligibility criteria for the applied programme of M.Sc. according to the official guidelines from NIMAS.
