When taking the UK rankings, Lancaster is better ranked but Manchester University is much better ranked in terms of world ranking. Also, Manchester’s B-School is slightly better ranked in comparison to Lancaster's.

As per Research Excellence Framework (2021), 90% of the research conducted at Manchester Metropolitan University was rated as world-leading or internationally excellent.
