Yes, candidates applying to either BTech, BSc or Diploma at MANET Pune should be less than 25 years of age as on August 01 in the year of admission. Some relaxation in age is given for below mentioned categories:
- The maximum age limit for candidates belonging to "Scheduled Cast" (SC) / "Scheduled Tribe" (ST) Category shall be relaxed by 5 years.
- The maximum age limit for candidates belonging to No-Creamy layer of "Other Backward Classes" (OBC) Category shall be relaxed by 3 Years
- The maximum age limit for women candidates of each category shall be relaxed by additional 2 years.

Yes, admission is open at MANET Pune for the academci session 2026. The college offers courses such as BTech (Marine Engineering), Diploma (Nautical Science) and BSc (Nautical Science). Candidates who fuflil the course-specific eligiblity have to fill the application form and appear for entrance test.

The student must have completed the Senior Secondary tests 12th or its equivalent with:
- Min. 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Maths (PCM) and
- Min. 50% marks in English either in 10th or 12th.

The following career paths are available for the MANET BTech students:
- Trainee Engineer: 4 Years Degree (Marine Engineering) + Four Basic STCW modular courses
- Second Engineer: 12 months sea service as a Class IV Engineer+ 4 month's preparatory courses + passing in Class II exam.
- Chief Engineer: 18 months sea service as a Second Engineer with class II Certificate+ 2 month's course+ passing in Class I exam.

Yes, MANET Pune is a private college under the MIT group. Being a private college, the facilities available are quite good. Some of the facilities include the hostel and several other facilities.
