Manipal University is a private university located in Karnataka. It was established in 1953 and has been granted the Institution of Excellence status by the Ministry of Education, GOI. Manipal University Karnataka is ranked 4th and 56th under the 'Universities' and 'Engineering' categories by the NIRF 2024. The University is home to over 35,000 students. It has over 9,000 supporting services.

Manipal University offers a 4-year Bachelor of Technology- (BTech).

• Students are selected for the BTech course based on their performance in the MET - Manipal Entrance Test, as the admission process is entrance-based.

The Manipal University accepts CAT, CMAT, NMAT, and XAT. Considering the MAHE cutoff 2024, the CAT, CMAT, NMAT, and XAT percentile for the All India category candidates stood between 85, 95, 80, and 80, respectively.

Candidates preparing for CAT for the admission to MBA at MAHE must achieve certain percentage to qualify. As per the Manipal University CAT cutoff 2024, the required percentile stood at 85 for the open category candidates. 

Candidates seeking admission to Manipal University can easily get admission to MD and MS courses. As per the Manipal University NEET PG cutoff 2024, the needed rank stood between 4891 and 196973. Wherein, the most and least competitive courses were MD in Radiodiagnosis and MD in Physiology, respectively. With 7000 rank, it is definitely possible to get into MAHE.

Through Karnataka NEET PG, candidates were permitted to take admission at Manipal University for MD, MS, and MDS courses in 2024. As per the Manipal University cutoff 2024, candidates need to score upto 11214 rank for MS courses, for MD course, they should score a score upto 99289.

Manipal University allow admission to medical courses such as MD and MS through Karnataka NEET PG exam. During the Manipal University cutoff 2024 for NEET PG, the cutoff rank for MD in General Medicine stood at 2249, for MD in Biochemistry, it is 99289, and for MD in Paediatrics, it is 6641.
