
Round-2 Karnataka NEET PG 2025 choice filling dates have been revised. As per revised schedule, students can declare round-2 choices online till December 22, 2025. Earlier deadline to modify round-2 choices was December 20, 2025. Seat which remained unfilled, cancelled, forfeited, and newly added ones will be available for round-2 allotment. Students who were allotted seats in round-1 and opted choice-2 & 3 will be elligible for round-2 Karnataka NEET PG 2025 round-2 counselling. In addition, those who didn't get seat in round-1 will also be elligible for round-2.

Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will announce round-2 provisional result for Karnataka NEET PG 2025 counselling on December 23 followed by final result on December 24, 2025. Round-2 result will be uploaded at official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea. Admission letter can be downloaded from December 25 till December 30, 2025. Last date for round-2 reporting is December 30, 2025.

Candidates who qualify for the NEET PG and NEET MDS with a minimum 50th percentile are eligible to apply for the KEA NEET PG counselling. Karnataka NEET PG 2025 counselling is conducted by Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). Candidates who have cleared the NEET PG cutoff and whose names were included in the KEA NEET PG 2025 merit list can participate in the Karnataka NEET PG 2025 counselling. There will be two main rounds and an additional mop-up round. The counselling is being conducted for admission to 50% state quota and 100% private college seats.

After the seat allotment result announcement, a candidate has four choices:
- Take admission by paying the admission fee at the allotted college
- Apply for Upgradation and participate in the next round
- Surrender the current seat and participate in any further rounds of counselling

The KEA NEET PG round-2 will begin on December 12, 2025. Only those candidates can participate in Round-2 who will opt for seat surrender or those who opted for seat upgrade. Round-2 dates have been announced. Round-2 begins with release of the seat matrix and proceeds with the choice filling/option rearrangement exercise. Seat allotment list will be declared, and then documents will be verified at the time of institute reporting.

Candidates willing to apply for the Karnataka PG medical counselling 2025 are advised to go through the eligibility criteria. Merely filling out the KEA counselling application form to participate in Karnataka NEET PG counselling 2025 will not guarantee seat allotment. Eligibility criteria for admission through the counselling of Karnataka NEET PG 2025 are as follows:
General Eligibility Criteria (Applicable to All)
- He/she must have qualified for NEET PG 2025
- He/she must have done MBBS from an institute recognised by MCI
- He/she must have completed his/her compulsory rotatory internship by April 31, 2025.
Eligibility Criteria for Government Seats
In addition to fulfilling the above conditions, the candidate must have passed MBBS course from a recognised institute in Karnataka. Candidates who have completed the MBBS degree from an institute outside Karnataka but have studied in the state for 10 years, including class 10 or 12, can also apply for the counselling of Karnataka NEET PG counselling.

Candidates who have qualified for NEET PG 2025 and wish to participate in Karnataka NEET PG counselling 2025 need to register themselves on the official website of KEA. KEA NEET PG Counselling 2025: Document Verification
To be considered for seat allotment, the candidate needs to get all the relevant documents verified by the competent authority. For this, he/she needs to upload the relevant documents in a PDF format along with the application form for Karnataka NEET PG 2025 counselling. If a candidate fails to upload the relevant documents, he/she will not be considered for the seat allotment process.
Candidates who successfully complete the document verification process for Karnataka NEET PG 2025 counselling will be issued a ‘Verification Acknowledgment’. Candidates must check the details printed on the acknowledgment. They must inform the officials immediately in case of any discrepancy. The acknowledgment will also contain an alphanumeric, unique secret key. All candidates are required to set the password using this secret key and user ID.

In KEA NEET PG 2025 counselling, the participants will see that each college will have four different categories of seats: government, private, NRI, and others. KEA NEET PG 2025 Seat Allotment
KEA will prepare the seat allotment list based on the seat matrix for the current admission session, the state merit list, and the choices filled by the applicants of Karnataka NEET PG counselling 2023. Candidates who have been allocated a seat in the first/second round of Karnataka PG medical counselling will now have to choose if they want to retain/surrender the allocated seat. He/she has to log in to the registered account on the official website and choose from among the following four options:
Choice 1: The candidate is satisfied with the allocated seat and is willing to report to the allotted college. He/she is not interested in further allotment of seats in any subsequent round for any discipline.
Choice 2: The candidate is satisfied with the allocated seat but wishes to participate in the next round (for upgrading).
Choice 3: The candidate is not satisfied with the seat allocated to him/her and would like to surrender it. He/she would, however, like to participate in any further rounds of counselling.
Choice 4: The candidate is not satisfied with the seat allocated to him/her and would like to surrender it. He/she would not like to participate in further allotment of seats in any subsequent round for any discipline.
If a candidate opts for choice 1 or 2 but is unable to join the allocated institute, Such candidates have to mandatorily report to the allocated institute. Not reporting to the institute within the assigned duration will be considered as blocking of the seat, and will attract a penalty.

Collection of Admission Order
Candidates will have to carry original copies of all the documents that were uploaded during the registration process. After verifying the authenticity of these documents and comparing them to those uploaded online, the institute will issue admission letters to eligible candidates. If the authorities find any discrepancy in these two sets of documents, the admission of such a candidate will be cancelled, and the fees paid by him/her will be forfeited.

After successful document verification, counselling conducting authorities will generate a Karnataka PG medical/dental verification slip for all the candidates. Aspirants must check and verify the details mentioned on the verification slip. In case any error is found, candidates must report it to the KEA immediately.
