To be considered for admission to the University of Maryland, students should aim for a GPA greater than 4.45, as the average high school GPA for Fall 2022 applications was 4.47. The average GPA has improved since Fall 2020; that is, admissions to UMD in Fall 2020 had an average GPA of 4.36, whereas in Fall 2021, admissions had an average GPA of 4.39.
