So, B. M. is a field where you can explore every aspect of media. Mumbai is really a good place if you wish to pursue B. M. You get a lot of opportunities through this field. Also you get to know more about general knowledge stuff which is helpful. Mumbai has many institutes which provide this subject. However I suggest you to apply for the best to earn the best. The One Year Gap won't impact your competence or possibility of a good career in Mass Comm. However, you shall need to do some extra bit to prepare for Entrance Tests of BJMC. Do another worry about the things that have gone.

Both are good universities. But since some of my friends are studying mass communication in Galgotia. So, I can tell you about Galgotia. They are satisfied with the course curriculum for journalism and mass communication. And are happy with the environment of the university.

I think you should look for Media Management and/ or Communication Management over Mass Communication as it is narrow and outdated unless you get admission in Jamia Millia Islamia. Please look at the offerings at MICA, ISB&M and other Media Schools and decide.
