Hi Sona,
Generally, for entrance of journalism and English, the students basic general knowledge is checked. Questions may be asked related to current affairs, journalism and media history, new changes, etc. Apart from this, your language will be tested.
The focus is laid on how you pass out answer for every question , what is knowledge level and how much command you have over your language. That's all.

In this case, you can definitely opt for the Bachelor's in Media Science course, and then you can specialise in any particular field of your choice be it, dancing, acting, Journalism or writing.

RIE stands for Regional Institute of Education. It offers B.Ed course for various courses. It does't offer Journalism course.

The criteria would differ from college to college. Some colleges might conduct an entrance exam while others might just consider admission on the basis of merit. Hence, please mention the name of the college for a better guidance.

Hi!
It depends where your interest lies. If you want to join the state administration at the sub-divisional level, as a sub-divisional magistrate, and look after law and order, general administration and development work in the area under your charge, you should opt for a career as an IAS. Journalism, on the other hand, is a different sector. If you fancy reporting news, editing, videography, news anchoring and such, Journalism is the right field for you. Also, you can pursue both because IAS is a highly competitive exam. The chances of cracking the exam cannot be speculated at all. You also need to be a graduate to be eligible to apply

If you are interested in journalism and mass communication than you can go for M.A. (Journalism & Mass Communication). Eligibility criteria for taking admission in M.A. (Journalism & Mass Communication) in most of the top universities is Pass with 50% aggregate marks in Bachelor's Degree. ( It may vary with the university you choose)
After M.A. (Journalism & Mass Communication) you can work as:
