Hi, there are about 1,270+ best Journalism colleges in India. Out of these,  600+ colleges are privately owned,  270+ colleges are owned by the government, and public-private entities own 70+ colleges. Students can secure admission based on their Class 12 results, or some institutions conduct entrance exams like CUET, CUET PG,  etc. Some of the best colleges for Mass Communication in India include Delhi College of Arts and Commerce, Delhi University, St. Joseph's University, MIT-WPU, Amity University Online, Chandigarh University, Indus University

Although a Mass Communication degree or Diploma is the most preferred education background for establishing a career in Communication, it is not mandatory if the candidates exhibit the required skills such as written and verbal communication skills, creativity, interest in news, time management ability, interpersonal skills, etc. would be preferred for a career in Communication field.
