No, the application fee for MASCOM Entrance Exam is non-refundable. Fee once paid will not be refinded by exam body.

There is no concrete date as of now on when the MASCOM application process will start. However, as per past year dates application process for MASCOM entrance exam is expected to start in the first week of May 2024.

SIMC Pune 1st year fees for MBA programme is INR 9,24,500 while for MA programme the fees is INR 7,37,500. Eligibility for admission at Symbiosis Institute of Media & Communication is graduate from any recognised University / Institution of National Importance with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes). Applicants expecting their final year results can also apply. However, their admission will be provisional and subject to their proof of graduation with 50% marks or equivalent grade.

To pursue BSc in Visual Media course, candidates need to have done +2 in any discipline or its equivalent with 50% aggregate or 3-year Polytechnic Diploma. Meanwhile, to pursue Integrated B.Sc-M.Sc Visual Communication course, candidates should have qualified +2 in any discipline or its equivalent with 50% aggregate or 3-year Polytechnic Diploma.

Yes, there are good colleges in India for Film Direction. Whistling Woods offer the course but at a high fees of Rs 5 Lakhs to 25 Lakhs. Other than this, the following colleges are also very good for graduation and Diploma in the field of film direction:
- Film and Television Institute of India, Pune providing various 1 to 3 year Certificate and Diploma courses. The fees ranges around Rs 1.25 Lakhs approximately.
- Satyajit Rai Film and Television Institute, Kolkata providing various filmography courses with fees around Rs 1.50 Lakhs approximately.
