The National Institute of Mass Communication and Journalism (NIMCJ) in Ahmedabad offers a Master of Journalism and Mass Communication (MJMC) program. Total 60 seats are available for MJMC ( Masters at Journalism and Mass Communication) at NIMCJ Ahmedabad. However, the program is a 2-year full-time course with tuition fees of INR 2.40 Lakhs and course fees of INR 2,00,000. Additionally, students are required to have a minimum score of 50% for admission to the MJMC program.

Both the college are the best for journalism in Ahmedabad. 

In my opinion NIMCJ is the better one. As NIMCJ ranked under 15 Mass communication college in India. Also NIMCJ provide 100%placement.Students are placed immediately after the completion of the course. NIMCJ is the go - to place for media student.

The criteria to get into NIMCJ Ahmedabad  is that the candidate need to secure a minimum score of 50% in 10+2 or equivalent from a recognised university. NIMCJ conducts their own entrance examination so the candidate also need to score a qualifying rank to get into the institution. So if a candidate scores 70% in their 12th, its a good and required qualifying criteria to take admission besides the candidate must also appear for the entrance exam that will be conducted by the National Institute of Mass Communication and Journalism (NIMCJ) for admission to the postgraduate Diploma in Mass Communication and Journalism (PGDMCJ) Progra

See the Eligibility – 10+2 pass out with 50% in any stream, 12th class appearing students may also apply.
