Yes, Indian Institute of Mass Communication offers admission through CUET PG in some of the postgraduate Diploma programmes. Candidates seeking admission in such programmes are required to fill CUET PG application form and appear in CUET PG exam. Shortlisted candidates are called for counseling as per the marks obtained in CUET PG. A cut off for such courses is released and the candidates are given admission accordingly.

Yes, the Indian Institute of Mass Communication issues an e-prospectus every year, which contains all the information related to the IIMC Entrance Exam. Candidates can find every information related to entrance exam and the course information such as IIMC exam schedule, instructions regarding application process, evaluation methodology, eligibility criteria, selection criteria, courses offered at the institute, fee structure, number of seats for each course, reservation details etc. This e-prospectus is usually uploaded on the website a few days after the commencement of the admission process.

Yes, candidates are informed about any change in the exam dates through the application portal. They are also notified through an email about the new schedule. In such a scenario, candidates should login on the CUET PG application portal and downlod fresh admit card. Also, if there is any change in the schedule of language journalism courses the information is posted on the website of Indian Institute of Mass Communication. Candidates should keep visiting the website for any update related to the exam. IIMC keeps on providing information related to examination schedule, application, admit card, syllabus, result etc. on its website.

CUET PG Exam 2023 Form correction window was opened for two days from 12th May to 13th May 2023. Candidates had the option to edit details like address, educational qualification, reservation details, photo and signature upload etc. Candidates were asked to check the information carefully as no changes were allowed in the application form after the closure of the form correction window. NTA opens the form correction window every year after the registrations are closed to give candidates a chance to make important corrections in their applications. The registration form for IIMC entrance exam for PG Diploma courses in Odia, Marathi, Malayalam and Urdu Journalism this year were released on May 2, 2023 and the last date of registration was May 31, 2023. Whereas, the application process for CUET PG started on March 20, 2023 and lasted till May 5, 2023. Post the CUET PG registration process, the form correction window was opened for 2 days to edit the details related to academic qualification, address and upload better photo and signature. The CUET PG registration window remained open for about two months.

IIMC Entrance Exam is usually conducted in the month of July every year. The exam date varies according to the courses as for the language journalism courses IIMC conducts the entrance exam itself and for other courses the admission is given through CUET PG. For the session 2023-24, the IIMC Entrance Exam 2023 for language journalism courses was held on June 18, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Whereas, the CUET PG exam for admission to PG Diploma courses in English Journalism, Hindi Journalism, Radio & TV Journalism, Advertising and Public Relations and Digital Media offered at IIMC was conducted on June 10, 2023.

To fill the CUET PG application form for courses offered at IIMC candidates will have to visit the official website of the NTA and click on the 'Registration For CUET (PG)' link. Thereafter, candidates need to click on 'New Registration' link. On clicking the link, the form window will open on the screen. Thereafter, candidates can start filling the online application form. Candidates will have to fill the details such as course details, personal details, family details, education details, choice of exam centre, signature and photograph.

For the candidates appearing for CUET PG, the exam pattern is such that the number of questions will be 100 and they will be divided into two parts: Part A: Consisting of Language Comprehension/Verbal Ability, General Awareness, Mathematical/Quantitative Ability and Analytical Skills comprising of 25 MCQs and Part B: Domain Knowledge comprising of 75 MCQs. For those appearing for Regional Language PG Diploma Journalism courses, the question paper will be descriptive and objective in nature. There will be Long, Short and Multiple-Choice question (MCQ) type questions.
