Following are some of the mandatory M.A. Mass Communication eligibility requirements to be fulfilled:
The basic eligibility to get admission in the course is to hold a Bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognized university. The candidate should have scored 50 % marks in aggregate at graduation level. The candidates have to qualify for the entrance examination conducted by the particular university and college. After the entrance examination, the candidates have to clear the second round I. e. , generally based on group discussion. After clearing the GD round, candidates have to face a Personal Interview, and only after clearing GD + PI round the candidates can take admission in this course.

Being a student of LPU and that too media student. Yes, I am pursuing a Bachelor's in journalism and mass communication from LPU itself. And in my opinion, LPU is worth it for these courses. You'll get the best exposure and facilities for this course. I got the best faculty members to learn from they were all from a repeated organisation like TOI, India today, etc. Plus you'll also get placements training and classes to sit for placements. You'll also get to learn different skills. Plus workshops guest lectures, seminars, and more things. In my opinion, LPU is right because of the facilities and exposures provided by the university. Furthermore, there is no entrance exam for admission to this programme after the 12th class. You should have only passed with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English or equivalent). But if you want to get the scholarship facilities you can give LPU NEST exam for scholarship. You never know you may get the best results in it and get the scholarship.
