The choice among them depends on your career requirements and interests. No doubt, a full-fledged PG-degree course in Journalism will open more learning and earning opportunities for you. But a PG Diploma will be easier and faster to complete. Also, a Diploma programme is relatively cheaper than a Master's course.

It depends on the institute you choose to pursue your Diploma in Journalism from. If it is a UGC-approved institute in India, such as IGNOU, TNOU, NSOU, YMCOU Nashik, etc., you'll get the certificate upon completion of the program.
