The University of Queensland, Australia is a good option. They conduct many programmes to give international exposure to the students.

If you have completed your 10+2 successfully, then you may apply for B.A. in Journalism. Students have to go through an entrance interview before being selected. Don't worry about marks of any particular subject. Apply and appear the interview.

My suggestion is to allow your daughter first to complete 10+2 Exam successfully. Then, she will enroll herself in Bachelor Degree in Journalism and Mass Communication courses in any reputed institutions and universities. For PG Diploma, she has to complete her Graduation first. I suggest for a regular Master Degree in Journalism and Mass Communication in the place of PG Diploma for her vast career options.

MGR Film and Television Institute is yet to be announced admission for 2019-20. You have to collect form directly from the institute or can get the form by sending the fee and postal expenses. Apart from Film editing and animation course, you have to score more than 50% in 10+2 with Physics and Chemistry. Then, you have to appear in written exam and personal interview to get admission there.

It all depends on your interest. If you are really enthusiastic and passionate to study and pursue a career in Journalism go for it. However, if you are interested in pharma continue your further studies in the same field. If you are confused than I would suggest you to read about both the fields and subjects in the same in detail. All the best.

My suggestion goes first with government colleges and universities who provide these courses. Then, you may choose Amity University, Symbiosis, MICA, Lovely Professional University etc.

MICA provides Post Graduate Diploma in Management - Communications (PGDM-C), equivalent to an MBA. It is not an event management programme.
NAEMD - Ahmedabad and National Institute of Event Management will be best options to pursue event management courses in Ahmedabad & Gujarat.
