This is because these are professional courses provide technical knowledge. They are not just graduation degrees, but will land you in to a technical world. Even after being a government funded college, Xavier's College charge a higher fees for BMM and BMS, as the study kit involved in it charges more than for nominal courses.

St. Xaviers College of Management and Technology is one of the good college. Academics and infrastructure are good here. And, placement record is also better than many other colleges. Regards.

If you have an interest in the design field, you can apply to any design institute. It's not like, only ICAT Design & Media College will accept you. If you have the talent, and passion for the design field, just go for it irrespective of your dropout.
