Thus it is not only necessary to keep a copy of the scorecard but also necessary to have an error free scorecard. After the declaration of MAT result, candidates can start applying to the colleges they have shortlisted for pursuing MBA/PGDM. AIMA will send candidate's scores to the participating B-Schools that they shall have selected in their MAT application form. The MBA colleges will then shortlist candidates for the admission process and call candidates for further rounds. Yes, the MAT scorecards of all modes are released together on the same day. The process to download the MAT scorecards of all modes is also same. MAT exam is conducted phase wise in February, May, September and December. In each phase MAT PBT, MAT CBT and MAT IBT exam are conducted multiple times. Candidates can appear for MAT any number of times they want. Score of the latest MAT attempt will be considered for admission. The participating colleges decide MAT cut off for admission to their MBA/PGDM programmes. Generally, the top MBA colleges' cut off range is around 90-95 percentile. Cut offs of Tier 2 colleges is usually between the range of 80-90 percentile and for Tier 3 it is 50-70 percentile. These cut offs are determined by the colleges on the basis of certain parameters and may change year on year. The three main factors that determine MAT cut off are listed below:

The MBA institute will send Group Discussion GD and Personal Interview . PI letter to each candidate who had selected the institute in MAT application form upon their selection based on MAT cut offs.
