Yes, in stage 1, students are required to apply for TISSNET entrance based on merit. Those who are selected need to appear for TISS-PAT/ TISS-MAT followed by an OPI round in stage 2. The final score is calculated based on stage-1 and stage-2 performance of the applicants. For TISS admission 2022, however, TISS-PAT/ TISS-MAT were cancelled by the Deemed-to-be University.

MAT is conducted multiple times a year. Most of the MBA entrance exams in India are conducted annually. MAT is the only exam that is conducted multiple times in four phases and multiple exam modes. MAT is conducted multiple times in a year. MAT 2024 exam dates were announced phase wise - February, May, August and December. Candidates will be allowed to register for multiple mode and multiple attempts. The MAT December 2024 dates are given below:
