What is MAT?
Management Aptitude Test or MAT exam, is one of the top MBA entrance exams in India. It is conducted by the All India Management Association (AIMA) four times a year i.e. February, May, September and December. MBA/PGDM aspirants can choose the examination phase as per their preparation and apply for the same at AIMA MAT website. Yes, SMS Varanasi accepts CUET-UG for BCom, BBA, BCA and BA (Hons) courses. CUET-PG is accepted for MBA, MCA and MCom programmes. - Candidates can select up to five institutes from the list of MAT participating colleges, in the exam application form

- Registered colleges shortlist the candidates based on MAT score and invite them for Group Discussion and/or Personal Interview.
- The MAT cut off will be determined by participating colleges individually.

You don't strictly need CAT to get into GIBS Business School. They accept both CAT and MAT scores, but even if you haven't appeared for them, you can still get admission through their direct admission or interview process.
