PIM-MAT 2026 result for written examination will be declared in last week of June 2026. The result for the written examination will be declared after the release of final answer key. Based on the result, candidates are shortlisted for the group discussion and Personal Interview rounds. On the basis of the candidate's holistic performance in PIM-MAT 2026, the final results will be announced in the last week of June 2026.

PIM-MAT 2026 pattern has been released online. As per pattern, PIM MAT question paper will have 200 multiple choice questions. The question paper will be divided in five sections- Logic, Verbal Ability, Current Affairs Data Interpretation and Business Mathematics. Candidates will be provided with OMR sheets to mark correct options. The exam will be conducted for a duration of two hours to attend all five sections of PIM-MAT.

Candidates seeking admission to MBA programme of R. A Podar Institute of Management, must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
Candidates must have obtained Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 45% in aggregate for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer). Candidates who will be appearing for the final year examination of the qualifying degree will also be eligible to appear for PIM-MAT exam. There is no age limit to apply for PIM-MAT.

MAT and CMAT have similar syllabus but the difficulty level is different. Both exams have Quantitative Aptitude Logical Reasoning, Data Interpretation, English and General Knowledge. CMAT has an additional section - Innovation and Entrepreneurship which was introduced in 2021. While MAT is an easy exam, CMAT is moderately tough but to say which is better totally depends upon the college a candidate is targeting for MBA Admission. The participating colleges for both exams are different. Since, MAT exam is conducted only for admission to MBA and PGDM/PGP courses. It is a post graduate level business aptitude test comprising Quantitative Aptitude critical reasoning, data interpretation, data sufficiency, language comprehension and general awareness.

While a score of 312 in MAT December 2019 is a good score, the admission process for MBA at BIT Mesra takes into account a number of factors in addition to the MAT score, such as academic performance, work experience, and performance in the group discussion and Personal Interview rounds. It's difficult to say with certainty whether you would be able to secure admission to BIT Mesra with a MAT score of 312, as the cut-off scores can vary from year to year and also depend on the number of applicants and the competition for seats.
