The notion that one must have prepared for the CAT was the main error in the previously provided response. It is true that the themes are practically same, with the exception of gk, but let me tell you, my friend, that the CAT's level and nature of the questions are far more difficult than those in the SSC. CAT is renowned for being unpredictable. Although one of the key topics, gk, is still left to complete, we can conclude that someone who is studying for CAT has virtually finished their SSC preparation. Yes, the MAT is very easier than the CAT exam. The CAT exam is usually more difficult and has a section-time limit, which makes cracking even harder. MAT on the other hand, is generally moderate difficulty and has no segmentation time limit.
