Exams like MAT and CAT are for admission in management school. There are several institutes, which accept both. CAT is difficult as compared to MAT. MAT is the easier version. Course wise, there is no difference in the syllabus of two, only the level of questions are different. Questions in CAT are much difficult from those of MAT. CAT is conducted once every year and MAT is conducted four times in a year.

Hello! It simply depends upon which B-school you want to get admission into. Those aiming the IIMs must give CAT XLRI accepts only XAT IIFT score is accepted by both the IIFT campuses (New Delhi & Kolkata), and CMAT is accepted by JBIMS, Sydenham, GIM, etc. Preferably it is advised to give 2-3 exams since their difficulty level never remains same and one also has a backup in case he/she falters in one exam. https://www.shiksha.com/mba/articles/20-mba-entrance-exams-you-can-take-this-year-blogId-11473 Kindly visit the given link, it would provide you with more insights.

There will be scope for admission, but I don't know about the college which you mentioned, but there are some colleges which have intakes for October in 2018
Some of the colleges are Like Victoria University which is Ahmedabad.it has intakes in the month of October so if you are looking for admission in other colleges across India there are also some more colleges which have multiple intakes . This gives you an opportunity of not wasting your time and proceeds further.
