It's better to go for one more attempt, if you do not have more than 1 year of gap in your education. Prepare well for next year's MBA entrance exam. Keep practicing the questions of topics covered in CAT syllabus. Do join a good test series to evaluate your performance. Just keep a determined and regular practice towards preparation.

You need to write MAT exam for that. You can sit for MAT 4 times a year in the months of May, September, December and February. Please go to the MAT official website for the detailed information about MAT. Once the scores are out, you can apply to different colleges according to your score.

At this score it is very difficult to take admission in leading B-schools of India accepting MAT/CMAT Score.
Either you can retake exams like CMAT/MAT and take admission or wait for a call from the institute.

There are many reputed colleges other than IIM as well. You should definitely give XAT to get a chance for admission in XLRI, which is at par with the top IIMs of the country. You can also give IIFT exam and SNAP for Symbiosis. GMAT can be given if you want to go for higher studies outside India. That is totally your choice.

CAT and MAT are accepted almost in every college. Further, CMAT can be opted by the candidate for pursuing MBA.
