Hi,
Percentile is a way of giving scores popularly used for most of the MBA entrance exams. In statistics, a percentile (or centile) is the value of a variable below which a certain percent of observations fall. For example, 20th percentile is the value (or score) below which 20 percent of the observations may be found. If your percentile is let's say, 80%, it means, 80% of the total number of candidates have scored less than you or you are above 80% of the candidates for that particular score. For MAT, a total score of (marks not percentile) 600 and above is good enough to get admission into a good B-School.

Top business schools that accept MAT score seek 700+ score out of 800. Therefore, you can go like, at Pune, Indira Group, Balaji Group, Dy. Patil, at Hyderabad, Shiv Shivani, VJIM, IPE Hyderabad, at Bangalore Acharya Group, etc. you can apply, wait and see.

In order to get best business school, through MAT score, one needs to get 700+ out of 800. Therefore, top institutes you may not get, but you can apply tier II institutes across the country. At Pune, you can apply for Indira Group, Balaji Group, etc.

Great Lakes is a reputed B-School, it is highly unlikely that it would accept any kind of donations. The admission process is followed purely on the basis of merit.
