Yes, PIBM Pune accepts MAT scores for admission to its management programs. The institution accepts test scores of CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, and PMAT (PIBM's aptitude test). For the MBA program, it is mandatory to appear in at least one of the above exams. If a student has not appeared for any of the above exams and wishes to apply for PGDM, they have to take the PMAT test, which is an internal entrance exam conducted by PIBM itself

While having a 70% score in MAT is a positive factor, admission to VELS Institute of Science, Technology and Advanced Studies (VISTAS) also depends on your overall academic performance. The institute requires a minimum aggregate of 50% in your 10+2 or bachelor's degree. For the MBA program, a bachelor's degree with a minimum 50% aggregate is essential. While a 70% MAT score is promising, it's crucial to emphasize a well-rounded application, including a strong academic background and performance in group discussions and personal interviews, which can compensate for a lower percentile in MAT.
