The total tuition fee for BTech courses at MAKAUT ranges from INR 24,000 to INR 39.6 lakh. On the other hand, the total tuition fee for BTech courses at Jadavpur University ranges from INR 15,600 to INR 1.2 lakh. Therefore, it can be explicitly seen that Jadavpur University is more affordable for BTech courses compared to MAKAU. However, the fee is only one component that candidates consider while comparing the colleges and universities. There are many more components that candidates can consider, such as placement packages, seats, ranking, affiliation, etc.

No, MAKAUT MCA admission process is entrance-based. The university only accepts JECA scores for inducting students to its MCA course. Thus, students seeking admission to this course must apply and appear for the aforementioned exam. Moreover, the students must also fulfill the eligibility requirements prescribed by the university.

Candidates seeking admission to the MAKAUT MCA course must meet the course-specific eligibility requirements. To be eligible, students must have obtained a UG degree in a relevant field and must have scored a minimum of 50% marks. It is important to note that meeting the minimum eligibility criteria does not guarantee admission to the programme.
