CUCET, a university-level entrance exam, is administered by Chandigarh University to candidates seeking admission to a range of postgraduate programmes, including MBA programmes. The College of Engineering, Guindy (CEG) accepts the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) for admission to its MBA program. The Anna University conducts the TANCET. 
 
The basic qualification for an MBA course in Tamil Nadu is a bachelor's degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks. Candidates from reserved categories can have up to 5% relaxation in the overall qualifying marks. 
 
Application forms for admission to CEG can be obtained online from the website. Rank lists are released based on the TANCA (GATE and/or TANCET) and counseling is conducted based on the ranking.

The Indian Maritime University (IMU) conducts a national-level common entrance test for admission to BSc, BTech, UG Diploma, MTech, MBA, PhD courses offered at IMU campuses. IMU CET 2024 application forms will be out in April 2024 and the exam will be held in June 2024, tentatively.

Bachelor's Degree of at least three years in any discipline from any recognised University. In case of applying for IMU CET MBA 2024, applicants must have a minimum of a 50 percent aggregate in their Bachelor's degree. Final year candidates can also apply for the IMU CET MBA 2024 entrance examination.

For admission to its MBA program, Ajeenkya DY Patil University (ADYPU) accepts scores from several entrance tests. The Common Admission Test (CAT), Management Aptitude Test (MAT), Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT), AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA), and Common Management Admission Test (CMAT)134 are examples of these tests.
