GBPSSI also offers an MBA program. To be eligible at the institute, one can apply for the MBA as per the eligibility criteria announced by the institute and pass through a structured selection procedure. Generally, appropriate aggregate marks in a bachelor's degree in any discipline is required. This generally amounts to 50% or what institutes have prescribed. Admissions are primarily through aptitude tests at the level of national entrance exams CAT, MAT, or CMAT, as GBPSSI utilizes these scores in admissions. The shortlisted are called for group discussion and personal interview to ensure communication and analytical skills by them. Candidates who complete these rounds are offered admission.

Steps to gain admission into the MBA programme at the GNIOT Institute of Management Studies (GIMS):
Eligibility Criteria: Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university with an aggregate of 50% marks. The SC/ST candidate should have secured an aggregate of 45%.
Entrance Exam: The major admission base is national level entrance exams; CAT, MAT, CMAT, XAT, GMAT, and ATMA. Percentile requirement does vary based on exams; on average for CAT and similar one, around 60% percentile is usually expected.
GNIOT Admission Test (GAT): In case scores in any national exam performed are not within the accepted percentile then one needs to appear for the GNIOT Admission Test (GAT).
Application Procedure: Apply through the website of GNIOT. Don't forget to attach all mark sheets and certificates.
Selection Procedure: Shortlisted candidates are called for a Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI).
Final Admission: Final admissions would be done based on scores of entrance exam, performance in academics, and results of GD/PI.

RMK Engineering College provides admission with TANCET entrance exam for MBA programs. Only those candidates will be given consideration who will have the minimum aggregate marks of 50% in bachelor's degree. The test is about the knowledge the candidate will have in management studies regarding relevant fields of knowledge. Admission is according to scores obtained in TANCET entrance exam by counseling which is conducted by the college. The college may also consider scores from other relevant exams such as CEETA in certain programs. This will ensure a holistic view of the qualifications and preparedness of applicants in taking the courseware of the MBA program.

The Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies (KUFOS) in Kochi accepts scores from the following entrance examinations for admission to its Master of Business Administration (MBA) program:

- KMAT Kerala: Orchestrate by the commissioner for entrance examinations, Kerala.

- CMAT: The Common Management Admission Test facilitated by the executive body of the Indian government, the National Testing Agency (NTA).

- CAT: One test that is conducted is the Common Admission Test conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs).

However, apart from the scores of entrance examination, KUFOS has GD and Interview for the admission to MBA program.
