MBA in Canada

Eligibility:
A relevant bachelor's degree from a recognised institution which is equivalent to Canadian bachelor's degree. Graduate Management Admission Test GMAT. The GMAT score should be between 500 - 600 to apply for MBA in universities of Canada. Some universities may also require work experience as an additional criterion to filter for the best candidates in the MBA programme. For international applicants or students whose primary language of education is not English, Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is mandatory. The score obtained in the same should meet the requirements of the university that you are applying to. Other than these main criteria for applying to MBA in Canada, each university could have a separate list of criteria as well. So before zeroing down on a university, you have to make sure that all the criteria are met as far as the university is concerned.

For getting admission in Canada or New Zealand, there are different procedures to study MBA. In Canada, you have to give GRE or TOEFL, you should score a suitable score in this exam and for MBA, you have to complete your Bachelor's degree or other equivalent degrees that should be of 4 years and if you have 3 years degree like B.Sc then there is another way to get admission. There are many scholarship options to study MBA which will provide full college fee concession and many scholarships help with your living expenses as well. Let's move towards New Zealand. To get admission in any college in New Zealand, you have to qualify GRE and TOEFL or IELTS depending upon on the college of your choice, you should complete your Bachelor's degree or equivalent course which should be of 4 years. Various scholarships are provided by many colleges depending upon your previous year percentage. If you have a good percentage then you can get a discount on college fee. Both the countries are good for MBA, they provide you with the work visa as well.

You have to plan this carefully. First, to study MBA you must have work experience. Even if you complete your BBA in Canada, you must first get a job there and then apply. Secondly, if you do your BBA in India it is a three year course which won't be accepted by many Canadian universities and colleges. If you are confident of getting a job after your BBA only then I will advice you to plan for MBA later or else do your BBA in Canada and apply for a PGDM or Graduate Certificate to leverage your chances of getting a job. You can apply for an MBA and a student permit before your work permit expires. These are some ideas but you have to check these permit rules with an official agent.
