As per the official website, the amount of the refund is provided as per the AICTE norms. Check out the below table to know the AICTE refund guidelines:
time when the application for refund is done | Amount to be refunded |
|---|---|
The application has been submitted before the start of the academic session and before the last date of admission for the waitlisted candidates | The entire fee, including the caution money and security deposit, is refunded after deduction of INR 1,000 |
The application has been submitted after the beginning of the classes, yet before the last date of admission for the waitlisted candidate | Only the seat cancellation charges on a pro-rata basis will be deducted. How to calculate on a pro-rata basis? Here 1 month is considered as 1 unit. The application has been made after the commencement of the session as well as the last date of admission for the waitlisted candidate | Other than the security deposit, no refund is made |
