Though ADGITM provides a good MBA program, it cannot be matched with IIT Madras (IITM) in terms of prestige and placement. IITM's Department of Management Studies is rated among the best management institutes in India year after year and is said to compete with the new IIMs. Industry connections are very strong with placements ranging from 10-12 LPA and with top recruiters such as McKinsey and Accenture. In contrast, ADGITM has a much more modest placement record and fewer brand affiliations. Therefore, for students who seek high-impact careers in management, IITM is considered the superior choice.
