The institute reserves 25% of seats for the students who have been residents of Nagpur for more than five years. The seats are reserved for SC, ST, PwD, defense, Kashmiri migrants, and international students.

No, there is no way possible to get the SIMC Pune MBA programme directly. The institute accepts marks of the SNAP test as per the cutoff. Students are required to apply for SNAP and appear for the exam to become eligible for the course. Once the result is declared for this entrance test, the university shortlists students for the next round. It is mandatory for each shortlisted student to appear in this round. The final merit list is being prepared based on the last round.
