Yes, there is negative marking of -1 in the Quantitative Aptitude section of CAT, but only for MCQ type questions. There is no negative marking for non-MCQ type questions. The CAT Quantitative Aptitude section is the only section that has non-MCQs. So, candidates can take a chance with non-MCQs in this section and attempt it even if they are not 100% sure. However, they must not do guess work in non-MCQs at any cost because if their chosen option is incorrect they will lose marks.

Praxis Business School provides a two-year PGDM in various specialisations. During the two-year duration, students have to pay the Praxis Business School PGDM fee of INR 11.3 lakh. However, the total fee for the PGDM programme includes various fee elements, such as tuition fee, security charge, admission fee, etc. It should be noted that the mentioned fee is taken from the official website of the institute/sanctioning authority. Yes, to enroll in a PGDM course at the Praxis Business School, candidates must sit for and appear in the accepted management entrance exam. The selection criteria for the PGDM programmes are based on the scores obtained in the CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT, ATMA, or GMAT. Apart from the selection criteria, candidates must complete a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from any recognised institute or university. The total number of seats offered to the MBA course at SJES College of Management is 120. To get a seat in this programme, candidates must complete their bachelor's degree with a minimum aggregate of 50% (45% for reserved category candidates). Additionally, for the selection process, the college accepts the scores of any entrance exam from CAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ PGCET.

No, MAT is not compulsory for admissions to the MBA course at SJES College of Management. The college accepts several national/ state based management entrance examination scores for admissions to the MBA course, and MAT is one of those. SJES Management College accepts the relevant scores in CATMATCMATPGCET for admission to the MBA course. Therefore, candidates with relevant scores in MAT can be considered to get admission into the MBA at SJES Management College. However, only scoring in the MAT entrance examination is not compulsory.

Yes, SJES College of Management does offer provisional admission to the MBA course for the students whose graduation results are awaited. Moreover, candidates granted provisional admission based on declared scores must present proof of passing the qualifying examination and a graduation degree with the required marks in the entrance exam during document verification. In case students failed to prove their eligibility before the deadline, their admission stands cancelled.
