According to the official website of DSMNRU, the shortlisting of students for the MBA programme is done according to the marks obtained in the accepted entrance test. The candidates who have passed graduation in the concerned stream from a recognised board are eligible. Greater Noida Institute of Management (or GNIM), has a comprehensive selection procedure to shortlist candidates for PGDM admission. To be eligible for the selection process, candidates must have appeared for CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT in addition to fulfilling the basic eligibility criteria in terms of gaduation.

The Dr. Shakuntala Misra National Rehabilitation University provides lower costs for MBA course fees compared to Lucknow University. DSMNRU is charging an MBA tuition fee of INR 1.4 lakh, which has higher upper range of tuition fee from INR 1.3 Lacs to INR 3.2 Lacs MBA fee offered by Lucknow University.
