MBA Placement

At Department of MBA placement preparation and readiness starts right after the admission for every student. Process starts with identifying the basic skills and improvement areas and goes on with conducting foundation, added advantage courses, monitoring the progress of each student, and enhancing the readiness to compete with the best. Placement of the department is overseen by Placement head of the institution and department coordinator. Students are well placed in several leading multinational companies, leading Indian organizations and start-ups across a wide spectrum of industry verticals like Banking & Finance, IT, Management Consultancies, Manufacturing and Consumer Goods. Leading brand names like Accenture, Amazon, Axis Bank, Ernst &Young, J P Morgan, L&T capital and many others have offered summer internship or full-time employment opportunities to the students in the past. In the session 2019-20, 88% students were placed, 68% students were placed in the session 2020-21 I. e. 36 out of the batch of 53 students were placed, with 20% of the students in HR Marketing, 33% in Finance Marketing and 47% in HR Finance.

While, it is impossible to pursue full-time regular MBA from Iims without CAT as it is a mandatory criteria for admission, there are other MBA courses candidates can opt for if they don't want to appear in CAT or don't have valid CAT score, The overall qualifying CAT cut-off for IIM Ahmedabad shortlist is 80 percentile for General Category, 75 percentile for NC-OBC, Transgender Categories, 70 for SC and PwD Categories and 60 for ST Category. The IIM Ahmedabad shortlisting process has begun and the institute has sent letters to eligible candidates. For IIM Ahmedabad Admission process :- Stage 1- The first stage is appearing for the Common Aptitude Test or CAT Exam conducted by the Iims (GMAT for international candidates). Stage 2- After clearing the required cut-offs and the composite score, a candidate is called for a Written Test/Group Discussion and Personal Interview (PI).
