BIMT-Gurugram is a very good college in terms of placement and faculty members. Not all colleges can boast the same. The placement may not be 100% but all students get a chance. And that is acceptable as MBA placements are skill based so skilled students never face any trouble in getting placed.

The decision would be based on your interest areas and long-term career plans. If you want to pursue a career in academics/ technical/research areas then MA would be a better option. However, if you want to move to the general management/operations side then MBA would be a better option.

Yes, MBA can help you sharpen your skills in business management, and thus assist you in the professional career. However, keeping your interest areas in mind, you need to decide what you need to do from a career perspective. The chances of doing well in a career of one's interest areas are much higher. Post MBA, if you want to pursue further education, then you can look at research as an option and go for a Ph.D and also look at a career in academics.

Yes, they do matter to a certain extent. However, if you excel in your project/internship area and at the campus interview then it may not matter much. So, forget the past which you cannot change and focus on the present and do your best and all in future will fall into place.
