Generally, it may not impact your placement. However, some companies that visit campus do insist on first attempt graduation /min percentage requirement at graduation exams. You need not worry on this do well in the MBA exam and also pick up a good summer project and I am sure you will get excellent placement.

No, most of the companies allow the candidates to get placed in their company for work without any criteria of year gaps. But some of the companies do not allow such criteria of year gaps.
